Investigating the impact of social capital on entrepreneurial resilience with the mediating role of entrepreneurial passion in knowledge-based companies in Lorestan province

Abstract

In recent years, social capital, which represents the benefits of a company's success in a social construction, has been the subject of attention of thinkers and researchers in the fields of humanities. Social capital in the company facilitates the possibility of using innovative opportunities and discovering new opportunities, which can also be effective on entrepreneurial resilience. Therefore, the current research aims to investigate the effect of social capital on entrepreneurial resilience with the mediating role of entrepreneurial passion in knowledge-based companies in Lorestan province. This research is applied in terms of purpose and among descriptive survey researches. The statistical population of this research is the knowledge-based companies of Lorestan province, which were estimated using Cochran's formula and the available sampling method of 384 managers and employees as a sample. The tool for collecting information in this research is a standard questionnaire whose validity was confirmed using the content validity method and its reliability was confirmed using the Cronbach's alpha method. In this research, structural equation modeling approach and Smart Pls3 and Spss 19 software were used to examine and test the hypotheses. was taken The research results show that social capital has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial resilience with a mediating role of entrepreneurial enthusiasm. As a general result, it should be stated that the company's social capital is a driver and support for entrepreneurs, which improves entrepreneurial resilience and also increases entrepreneurial enthusiasm.
