The Effect of Neuroleadership on Effectiveness of Staff Training with the Mediating Role of Social Capital in Knowledge-based Companies

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of neuroleadership on the effectiveness of staff training with the mediating role of social capital in knowledge-based companies. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in nature. In this study, the statistical population consists of the employees of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran. Also, the sample of this research is consisting of 17 companies with a number of 152 full-time male and female employees, which were selected by simple random sampling method. The data collection tool was a standard questionnaire that was selected from previous studies. Data analysis was performed using a structural equation modeling approach and partial least squares method using SPSS and PLS software. It is suggested that knowledge-based companies should improve the effectiveness of employee training, regarding the organizational neuroleadership dimensions including trust, sympathy, stability, and hope, and act in stable and transparent ways to reduce the level of tension and worry. Managers can also involve employees in organizational activities, considering the dimensions of social capital and proper foundation, and strengthening the thinking that employees have an essential role in the future of the organization and it clearly increases the effectiveness of employee training.
